Once again Master Lee has shown why he is the best of the best. I am fortunate that I have been able to participate in his seminars in the past with JVK Taekwondo in New Brunswick. Thank you to Combat Canada for presenting this article. Please submit more..

This article represents the type of approach that our sport needs. As coaches, we need to turn the prescriptions GM Lee presents into practical coaching tasks. The critical mental/psychological preparation and in match applications need to be converted to athlete usable actions. We need to take the work of Peter Jensen, Terry Orlick, Robert Schinke, Miyamoto Musashi and others and "taekwondoize" it.
It will take more people with the vision of GM Chong Lee to advance our sport in Canada. God bless him.

Congratulations to Combat Canada for publishing this article.

Grand Master Chong Lee could easily rest on his laurels with the great success he has had over the decades. Yet, he is a highly knowledgable, modern day coach.
I always have enjoyed discussing scientific training methodology with GM Lee and am very happy that he is now the Coaching Chair for WTF Canada.
Please have more articles like this, we are starving for it.
